Join us for our November art reception with Elko artist Alyssa Cumpton. All of the paintings are based on songs that have influenced the artist's life in some way.

Alyssa Cumpton is a multidisciplinary artist from Elko, Nevada. Her work varies in scope from temporary chalk art pieces, to traditional drawing and painting and large public murals. Often inspired by nature and the desert, her art includes every color under the rainbow and elements of the surreal. She loves to create art that tells a story, and art that inspires others to respect and conserve the natural world. Alyssa was selected as the Black Rock High Rock Emigrant Trails National Conservation Area Artist in residence in 2024 and has installed murals all across Northern Nevada. She holds a BFA in drawing and painting and a BA in Criminal Justice from Boise State University.

Join us for the free artist reception. This is an all ages event that is open to all. Join us for light refreshments and words from the artist.
